Michael Storey
Michael Storey, a Phi Theta Kappa alumnus from Elgin Community College’s Rho Kappa Chapter, served as the 2003-2004 Division III International Vice President. Since then, he has remained deeply involved, returning to every international convention to support the staff in various capacities. For many years, he emceed the Scholar Bowl competition at Catalyst, assisted at the Foundation Booth between matches, and volunteered as a scholarship and Hallmark Awards judge.
Beyond conventions, Mike has contributed to Phi Theta Kappa through online career webinars for members and remains an active alumni association member at Elgin Community College and in the Illinois Region. He has also worked alongside Advisor Emeritus David Elder to revitalize the Illinois Region Alumni Association.
Professionally, Mike is a Managing Partner at Beckatt Solutions, a 3D printing company. His commitment to service extends to his community, where he has served as Chair of Food for Greater Elgin and is a faithful volunteer. Additionally, he supports the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation through donations and participation in the Society’s annual Scholar Dash fundraiser.
