Amy Winters is the 2024 Marshall Award winner for her proposal entitled “Leadership Begins at the End of Your Comfort Zone.” Winters will complete the Day of Development certification based on author Jon Gordon’s Power of Positive Leadership. She’ll pair that with PTK’s Leadership Development Studies curriculum to develop and facilitate workshops at Western Nebraska Community College, Scottsbluff High School, and Gering School.

Winters will help students build leadership skills and challenge them to embrace being uncomfortable and try new things to grow as leaders. Winters will connect students with mentors to positively impact their leadership opportunities, and she will continue to work with her mentors to fulfill her passion for being a leader who helps others the same way others have inspired her.
