ALLIANCE FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD

Over 20 years ago, Phi Theta Kappa partnered with Phi Beta Kappa and the National Honor Society to introduce the Alliance for Educational Excellence Award. This award is not given every year. It is reserved for times when an organization or individual has provided extraordinary leadership on a national or international level in the field of education.

The Coca-Cola Foundation is committed to addressing complex global challenges by supporting global and local changemakers. Since the inception of the Coca-Cola Foundation, they have awarded more than $1.5 billion in grants supporting global initiatives.

The foundation's philanthropy focuses on addressing sustainable access to water, a circular economy, climate resilience, disaster preparedness and response, economic empowerment, and causes that impact hometown communities.

Through the Coca-Cola Foundation's partnership with Phi Theta Kappa, the New Century Scholars program was created. The program annually awards scholarships that support 100 community college students as they continue their education at four-year universities or as they enter the workforce after completing career and technical associate degree programs.
